I am using this 2x16 LCD
i am trying to make the lcd ultra slim to fit in my project can i dismantle 2x16 lcd and separate the screen from the board then connect them again through a wires
is that possible?
The I2C backpack can be wired elsewhere, yes, but the green board the LCD is mounted on, no. It's integral to the LCD itself. Those black blobs have integrated circuits in them, directly driving the LCD.

Usually, you can get the backpack and the LCD as a pair where you have to connect them yourself. This particular item doesn't appear to be that way, looks to be already soldered for you. Poor choice, look elsewhere.
