Can I use a 5 volt powerbank to power an Arduino Uno?

I was making a bb-8 droid and was powering it with an arduino uno and wanted to power it using a 5 volt powerbank will it work.

Might work, but actually depends on the current you draw from the powerbank.

Nearly all 5V USB-powerbanks on the market have an "automatic power cut-off", if you draw less than about 75mA for more than 10 seconds from the power-bank.

So if you are just connecting an Arduino board via USB cable to a powerbank, make sure that your circuit is never drawing less than ca. 75mA from the powerbanks USB or you wil see an automatic power cut-off from the power-bank.

So creating your own Atmega circuit design for extreme power-saving is of absolutely no value when powering from USB powerbank: Your circuit will run for about 10 seconds, then the powerbank cuts off the USB power supply.

Well I also have a mini metal gearbox with a high power motor driver with a bluetooth adapter will it still work.
