Is it possible to use 1.5V AA battery as an input on my tp4056? I'm afraid It would ruin board while charging. Of course I can use the usb pin to charge, but I'm trying to find other alternative to charge. Please respond as urgent as possible
.
This page says that the range of input voltage is 4V to 8V so a 1.5V battery is way out of specification.
1xAA, no. 4xAA, yes. I'm urgently writing this, of course.
4 AA batteries in series will give you 6V so, yes that should work, depending on what battery you are charging..
Most LiPo batteries can store more energy than a standard AA. (You might not get a full charge from one set of AA batteries.)
Of course, it would be more efficient if you can just use the AA batteries directly instead of using them to recharge another battery (if the voltage is the same).
I have one more question, can I connect the output terminal to 6V DC motor instead of lithium-ion battery?
The TP4056 is for charging lithium batteries. That is its only purpose.
