Can I use Nema 17 and dynamixel together?

Hi, I want to make a 6-dof Scara robot arm and having a problem with motor selection.
I'm currently thinking of a combination of three Nema 17(for the base part) and three dynamixel(for the end part).
I want to control these with Arduino UNO so I searched for drivers and ended up finding the 'Arduino cnc shield' and 'dynamixel shield'.
I found an article that using two shields at the same time won't work.
So I have two questions.

1. Is there any solution that I can use three stepper motors and three dynamixels together?

2. Is there a better motor combination rather than stepper and dynamixel?

Thanks in advance.

Unknown articles..... For NEMA17 use M3 screws for mounting them!
Referring to unusual devices forum advice tells You to post links to their datasheets.
Read the datasheet for the driver, look for applications using it.
Why do You not look at the commonly used drivers? 8225, 4998, TB6600 etc?
They all manage NEMA-everything depending on the current needed.

Thanks for the kind reply, Railroader:)
I apologize for my short information.

I just thought stepper motors required CNC shields necessarily but it isn't.
I'll go through your recommendation.
Have a nice day!

It would very much help us to help you, if you post links to the information you found.

There is a CNC shield compatible with UNO and maybe more. 3 steppers are handled byt that shield. The TB6600 is a single stepper driver that does not mount like a shield. 3 such for 3 steppers.
