you never answered the question of where 6V is coming from. I looked at your schematic and there is no 6V source in there.
They say 5V for a reason. It might work it may not but you must keep the 6V out of the arduino.
It's one of those "data sheets for dummies". It only lists nominal supply voltage, no maximum or minimum. To get a real answer, you have to look up every part on the board that is connected to Vcc, individually.
Also you still haven't explained why you want to run it on 6V.
A very similar question came up recently. I did some research and found that the microcontroller on the HCSR04 has a maximum power voltage (Vcc) of 5.5V.
A silicon rectifier diode (1N400x) will drop 0.6 to 0.7V. Insert a diode between the 6V and the Vcc of the HCSR04 to drop the voltage to less than 5.5V to power the HCSR04.
What is the source of the trigger signal? That also must be lower than 5.5V.
