Can LCD display be rotated 180deg?

I'm used to LCDs with 16 pin connectors on top left while displaying right-side-up texts.

Today I saw on ebay LCDs with 16 pin connectors on bottom right while displaying right-sid-up texts.

Is there any simple way to rotate the displayed text with command or hardwire? Thanks.

Both "types" seem to have pin 1 close to one corner and pin 16 close to the middle, making me wonder if the seller posted some wrong images or there's a simple way to invert images.

Nope. Funny image most likely. There may be some like that though but I have never seen one.

No, the seller probably did not post some wrong images. The displays are available in both configurations.

Thanks guys. I've designed my PCB with the pins on top so I'll stick with those that are that type.
Plus, I've compared a few LCDs and found the mounting holes are about the same, 2.8mm diameter, 75mm horizontal spacing, and 31mm vertical spacing.

Graphic LCD's normally offer this, along with flipping, rotation, mirroring and inverting.
