Can not create TABS using Web Editor.

Just noticed another error with it. It's not letting me add tabs to sketches.

Thought I'd share that too. Anyone else getting that problem?

Tabs MUST contain something and be saved with content or they will just dissapear. It is not a bug but the expected reaction of the online editor.

Is that what you are seeing or is it something else. if it is something else then can you write down the steps needed to re-create the problem please.

Bob.

As in, When I open the web editor, I open the drop down menu, and I click the “add tab” option, and nothing happens.

It will however allow me to add a secret tab, but won’t let me edit it at all. I can select the text and copy paste it outside the editor, but that’s about it.

The main sketch tab can be edited and verified, but nothing else.

I had the same problem, as a temporary solution I imported an empty ino file.

It will not let you edit the secret tab until you put a corresponding statement in your sketch.

Just tried it here and it performed as expected with no issue.

However the regular tab option is as you stated broken at the moment.

Have same problem. Worked fine up until a few days ago.

Unistalled and reistalled agent, did not help.

I see the same thing in Firefox on Ubuntu 16.04. I can not create a new tab from the Arduino Create Editor.

This is the error I see from the Firefox console.

Message moved to Can not upload using Web Editor.

The TAB issue has been reported and should get some attention Monday when the team get in.

Best I can do and sorry about the problem.

Bob.

@ninora

I know but I have problems splitting it out from the pack from here.

Thanks.

Bob.

No problems, I will copy it.

I wouldn't bet on Monday, since it's a national holiday in Italy and the Italians seem to be serious about Easter vacation.

The issue with not being able to add tabs should now be fixed. If you still have the problem, try clearing your browser cache.

Thanks a lot!
