Hello
Just received a starter kit with several components and Arduino Uno :

Looks the same as this one.
Installed IDE and connected the board via USB. It has LED lit : ON and L is blinking. It says it is connected on COM1 if that helps.
Tried to upload Blink sketch to the board and it shows error. I another one called Fade and it gives same error.
Btw i am absolute beginner in this so explain like you would to 15y old kid
Post screenshot from Device Manager and, if present, detailed information about the device properties, mainly Details Tab > Property > Hardware ID

Btw when i run the exe, and click install it says : Driver installation failed

Found it..did not know device for it
It seems that the correct driver is installed.

I solved it now, i turn on my brain for a bit and saw that it was not using the right port (driver says COM3) and but in software it was not selected for some reason.
I uploaded BLINK to test and it works now. Thanks so much for this

You can click on image and see what it is inside. There is list of components so maybe google chrome could translate page. It would help a lot.
Also i would ask kindly to post tuts for this specific board. Thanks
