Can Python be used to Store values in EEPROM ?

I am working a project that uses a Arduino Pro Micro and I have looked but have not found any definate answers on this. Can I use Python to store values within the EEPROM at specific locations?

I know it can be done in the code for Aduino but I want to code a program that is cross OS compatible via Python to do this.

If it can be done, can someone point me to the right documentation or process to get this done.

Thanks in advance!

If you mean the EEPROM within the Arduino chip then the answer is NO.

You could write Arduino code that receives messages from a Python program and stores data in the EEPROM.

thanks for the reply. I guess will just have to make a configuration menu system on the unit then.
