can somebody advice on linear sensor ?

I worked with Toshiba TCD1304, I managed to drive it and see output on oscilloscope.

But there is no way I can read the output without extra circuit, it is just too fast for arduino

I have seen bunch of schematics but I think those are just ideas, no one had it working directly with arduino.

I need sensor like array of 1000-2000 pixels.

So that's [a linear optical sensor[/url. Always nice if you link the data sheet, so we know what it is.

What do you plan to do with 2,000 pixels on a device with just 2kB of RAM?
