Can’t connect display to My board…wiring issues

Hi everyone, I’m new to this forum and I just recently got inspired with Arduino. As far as knowledge with hardware/coding, I have no experience with it. I bought these from Temu:

Arduino Kit
TFT Display

Unfortunately, I couldn’t get it to work. I had an impression that these two just plug in on top of each other. Then I realized that perhaps the board is incompatible with the screen since it’s not mega 2560 but mega328. Fortunately, Temu is nice to give me a full refund without shipping the items back.

Then I decided to buy these from Amazon:

Arduino Mega 2560
TFT SPI display screen

Again, I’m wondering if it’s necessary to buy the bigger Arduino and I just need help with the wiring with what I got originally.
I would greatly appreciate if someone could put me on the right direction with the wiring and libraries I need to download in order for the screen to work. What I really wanted was to make the Arduino kit work with the first display I bought if that’s possible so that I can return the stuff I bought from Amazon. Sorry for being a newbie at this. But I am willing to learn and hopefully I can help others as someone helped me. Eventually this is for my Pip Boy project I’m trying to make the screen work. I just need a working board so I can build my Pip Boy with my 3D printer.
Thank you in advance to anyone you took time and effort to help me out with my project.

God Bless You

I suggest you get the LCD backpack, they can be gotten for about a buck US. you solder that directly to the display and only 4 wires are needed to connect it to any of the Arduinos. Start by using a 5V Arduino such as the one that came with the kit. Look on line for a few clock sketches and from that you will get code and wiring instructions. You can get the display with the backpack already attached if you do not want to solder.
