Can the different versions of IDE run in the same computer?

Hi,
I am using 1.8.13 and 1.8.3 in two laptops, is it possible to use one?
Thanks
Adam

Hate to answer a question with a question, but what advantage do you get by using both copies?

You can probably just use one or both as portable installs, but you may need a VM.

Yes, download the ZIP version of the required version and unzip it to a location you can use.

Thanks.
I did it, but the 1.8.3 seems doesn't install, it can be open and replace the 1.8.13's file though.

Thanks.
The 1.8.13 can't upload code to NANO and 1.8.3 does.

Have you heard of making the IDE portable?

I think the easiest why is to have multiple Portable Instances.

I use several IDE versions to preserve tools used on old projects so I don’t have to update them or otherwise mess with success.

Read the linked page and the forum threads it links to.
