I realize I need a potentiometer. When I say click off, it doesn't spin continuously like an encoder. It has off/minimum level, and max level...like a volume.
I'm wanting to control 5v leds using power from arduino only. I know it sounds like a dumb question, since it is dc and stand alone, but i was reading about the arduino being able to do all kinds of things with different voltages and also dc. I figured it would not work, but thought i would ask. I'm trying to learn what these boards can do, and when you already know about them some questions sound stupid.
