Hi everyone,
I want to read tension's valor of a battery with my arduino uno. I am asking myself, if I can use a potentiometer to read the battery's valor.

Do you mean battery voltage?
If the battery voltage is lower then Vcc (which is 5V on a Arduino Uno) you can connect it direct.
Otherwise I would use a resistor divider instead of a pot. Pot is more expensive and if you turn it wrong you can damage the port/Arduino.
My battery voltage is 48V, otherwise I can't connect directly to my Arduino.
I will think about the resistor divider
Thanks for the support septillion
I want to read tension's valor of a battery with my arduino uno. I am asking myself, if I can use a potentiometer to read the battery's valor.
Measure the pot wiper output until the pot is adjusted to ~5.0v, then connect the pot wiper to the arduino analog input pin.
I've used trimmer resistors for divider there cheap and can be changed to keep the voltage in range of the ADC I glue them after I set there range. A pot is very easy to change
