Can UTFT_tinyFAT library read files from other directories than root?

Hello,

I started working with a TFT display and a SD card reader. During the process I found out that there is a limit of files in root directory on a SD card.

My only choice now is to store images in other directories than root. Is there a way to specify where the program is supposed to look for a file? The documentations for the tinyFAT and UTFT_tinyFAT libraries are a little bit vague in this regard.
