Can we use 12v battery for Adafruit motor driver

I have 12v li on battery can i use it for adafruit motor driver shield?
i used 18650 cells in a battery holder with 3 slots,each cell is 1200Mah.
Will i be able to use it without any danger

Since you have the documentation, what does it say about the range of motor voltages? Since you have the motor, what are the motor limits? Since you have the components, how are you going to wire them?

Probably but without links to the technical information on each of the devices I can only guess which I did. Post links to each of the items giving "Technical Information", links to azon and other sales outlets are useless. When you locate these you might read the data and you will find your answer.
