But i want to know that can i use the 9v battery with this project or i have to buy lithium ion battery.

500mAH

Appliances to be run :

What's a mercury cadmium battery? Do you mean nickel cadmium? And what's an ov battery?

If one would search this site using the words "9v battery" one may find a result set that answers the question of why those type of batteries in these projects do not work so well.

The number of times this 9v battery comes up…..
You need something with much more capacity . Have a google for battery capacity and what it means .

Something like a Pack for RC cars, Nicad or NiMh rechargeable isn’t so expensive .

It would be great to have a button to press as part of the reply that posts the links to the old thingies on why a 9V battery is poo.

Yep, agreed, but put it right below the new button that posts the link to "how to use this forum". If only...

The shortest answer to your question is no, the 9V battery is not suitable for your project. 18650s are suitable and cheaper than some other options.

Is this a game of "how to make the most poisonous battery possible?". If so, my suggestion is Arsenic Polonium batteries.

Answer: you can't. It's hopelessly inadequate for the task.
