The "I" in IoT stands for "internet". The technologies you refer to re merely means, or part of the means, of getting there.

All of these technologies are part of the internet of humans and of things.

The main difference between the protocols from an application point of view are availability of the network, power required and amount of data that can be transmitted. There are many differences in the implementation.
