the question I have is can read the sketch once it has been uploaded to the device?
I guess can you download your sketch from the device would be a better way of asking.

You can read it, but it doesn't look anything like what you wrote.
Ok thanks that is what I thought ,so I need to keep a storage device with the prototype set up so that I can have the code wear ever I program as I use different pc's one at work and one at home.

And a backup of all your sketches is also good practice as mobile storage sometimes get lost
