It is an IR detector (non-demodulating) maybe electrically similar to a QSE159 but smaller and appears to have a built-in 10k pullup resistor.
Its dimensions are 4.1mm high X 3.1mm wide X 3.0 mm deep.
I'm looking for its data sheet.
