Can you use Xbee explorer usb directly with arduino?

Hie i was wondering if you can use the xbee explorer usb to connect to arduinos? Connecting 5v to arduino 5v, Tx to arduino Rx and Rx to arduino TX? or are the connections strictly for FTDI cable to pc?

or would bying the Explorer regulated be better? I am saying this beacuse i have 2 of these explorer usbs lying around. Thank you!

You can connect the output side to the Arduino. The USB side will be useless, unless you have a USB Host shield.
