Cannot configure to UNO R4 WiFi at all

I am trying to connect to the UNOR4 WiFi Board, but it remains in some error status: LED matrix shows a red WLAN and USB-cable symbol (alternating). The board is offline in the "thing" it is assinged to.
It has worked but when I detached and tried to reconnect to show one of my students how this process works I have never been able to reconnect again.
I am using the "PLUG AND MAKE" kit - and before that I worked for 6 months with the Student Kit. I am working on a Mac Mini with M4 processer (2024 series).
I tried all this without any success:

  • detach and setup from scratch as new device
  • try all USB-C / USB-A connecters my computer and my monitor are offering
  • reset the board
    Nothing helps.
I can connect the R3 board of the Student Kit and this works fine with the IDE
What else should I try to "reset" the board so it will be able to connect to the IoT cloud again?

Did you delete the device and re provisioned it or was the problem while importing the template?

It turned out that it only works if I am using the correct IoT profile.
The problem is I cannot connect to the board generally; it always shows a WLAN-like symbol alternating with a USB-Connector symbol.
Once the right IoT profile is selected, there is a Cloud Symbol appearing on the LED matrix.
The IoT-Cloud config is installing something on the board and it looks like it can only be used connecting to it using the IoT profile where it has been set up.
I will close this

I cannot close so I leave it to Arduino moderators to do so.
