hello i am unable to connect my r4 wifi to the cloud nor can I update the firmware on IDE, through the cloud or through Windows Powershell. IDE and cloud give a failed message and Powershell just keeps repeating the initial line when opening Powershell. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Try these steps:
- Restore the USB connectivity firmware on UNO R4 WiFi with espflash. Make sure that your UNO R4 is the only USB device attached to your machine while you do the process.
- If step #1 is successful, reset the board and then do this process Update the connectivity module firmware on UNO R4 WiFi via IDE 2.3.3.
- If step #2 is done successfully, then use your phone to set up a 2.4 GHz Hotspot with SSID and Password that does not have special characters and is not too long. Use this to connect to the cloud after installing Arduino Create Agent (with admin right), check Install the Arduino Cloud Agent
Tried all steps with no progress. Tried again at later date to connect and everything worked as it should not sure what happened but thanks for the help!
Hello
To resolve the issue with connecting your R4 Wi-Fi to the cloud and updating the firmware, first ensure your device is connected to a stable network. Try restarting both the device and your computer, and verify your firewall settings are not blocking the connection. If you're still encountering issues, attempt the update process through a different USB cable or port, and make sure you're using the correct firmware version for your device model. If these steps don't resolve the problem, consult the manufacturer's support page for further troubleshooting.
