Cannot even burn a bootloader to ATMEGA328P-PU chips

I have seven ATMEGA328P-PU chips for my Arduino UNOs. Somehow, I fried six of them. Then using the last remaining one, I used the ArduinoISP built-in example to burn the bootloaders. I fixed two of them. However, for the other four, it says

Invalid signature...Error burning bootloader...Double-check chip...

I then tried Nick Gammon's Method, so on one of the chips, it says

Done...No errors were found

However, I cannot program that chip, not even the basic Blink example. So I tried Nick's method on the other three, for them it says

Could not go into ICSP Mode. Press 'C' When ready with another chip

So, I cannot use most of my Arduino Chips, though I tried to upload the bootloader several times through two different methods.

Please help me, Thanks

Make sure it's getting sufficient power, full 5V, also try to lower the BOD to 1.8V instead of 2.7V by setting the extended fuse to 0xFE (0x06)

Thanks.. but is it possible that you can give me a more detailed procedure??? That doesn't make much sense; except the 5V point - it does get the required power
