Cannot find any suitable motor driver

Hi Guys

I am currently doing a project and buying some stuff online.

I just read up the motor specification from the seller that I bought from.

I am planning to buy a motor driving but most of the motor driver has peak current of 2A and some has 3A, I don't see any motor driver with 4.5A(stated from the specification). Even L298N (I don't want to use this because other people say about voltage lost due to heatsink which I dont understand but I think it's bad) and even L293D can't provide current more than 3A.

The Sparkfun Monster Moto shield is very good. It will handle two of your motors.

I don't see any motor driver with 4.5A(stated from the specification)

That's the STALL CURRENT.
The RATED CURRENT is 1.2A

Here's some other drivers:
Motor drivers

And the max repetitive current for an L298 is less than the stall current so its not suitable.

Pololu have a wide range of decent MOSFET motor drivers upto many tens of amps continuous,
