Cannot locate arduino.inf even after installing drivers

Hi
I am trying to update the arduino uno drivers.
I did the following:

  1. Installed the recommended main package from "http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php/topic,118440.0.html

  2. While navigating in file system, it is showing the driver arduino->drivers->arduino.inf
    But when I try to update driver from device manager->Arduino Uno(COM7)->browse for driver software on your computer->enter location C:programfiles----arduino->drivers-> the arduino.inf is not listed???

In the arduino IDE (1.6.5) , when I go to tools->ports, I dont see any ports although I see it in device manager??
Please help
