When I am working on an IOT sketch and want to modify a custom library, the WEB frontend freezes and the library does not load.
When I am working on a "non-IOT" sketch, I can modify my custom library.
Although I have a service request open, I post this issue here, b/c I have the impression, that the 1st level support does not understand my problem (asking why I would change a library in the cloud ...).
Do you mean using the web version of the IDE and using a "standard" library in your code ?
How is the "custom library" referred to and where do you modify it?

When I made the screen capture, the Arduino Create Agent was not running - hence the message - but this does not make a difference.
I also include the zip file of the library. It does work in the cloud and in the IDE on my machine. However, I use several machines and don’t want to store these files locally in order to avoid effort for backup and sync. Once created locally the original should rest in the cloud and I want to be able to modify them there. Of course I can always edit them with a dummy not IOT sketch, but this workaround is cumbersome

Hi @ghu-01. Thanks for your report. I can reproduce the fault and have submitted a formal bug report to the Arduino Cloud developers.
I'll post an update here if I receive any news from the developers about a resolution.
Until then, please continue to use the workaround you found when you need to modify the library.
