The arduino ide shows up this error:
avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00
The rx and tx lights don't blink on uno
Uploaded onto correct port (COM3)
Chose the right board (uno)
device manager says the uno is working fine (COM3)
I have win 8.1 , Arduino Uno, IDE: 1.0.5-r2
the cable works fine: tried it on printer.
Uno has no connections with anything except cable; used Blink program.
I use Win 8.1 and found that it would not work with that version, I am currently using Arduino 1.5.5-r2 (BETA) and it works fine. Hopefully this will help you solve your uploading issue.
Hello, I am using Arduino Mega 2560. When I am trying to upload a sketch on it, TX starting flashing and it never finishes upload a sketch. The right board is selected and tight port. I plugged Arduino UNO board and successfully uploaded the same code.
I don't have any error message appear until I press RST button (it's says timeout) and TX is continually flushing. I can't figure out what's a problem.
System: MAC OSX 10.4.11
Arduino v.1.0.1
I solved the problem by updating my MAC version to 10.6.8 and everything works fine.
