Cannot Upload Sketch on Old Uno

I pulled out an old arduino to play with but I cannot get it working on my win 10 laptop. I am FAR from an expert on these. I played around with one years ago and got it working then but it was seemless. Not so much on this one.

I keep getting this error when I try to do the blink example. I checked the com and it is on arduino uno. I also tried to update the driver in the device manager but win 10 knows best and says the latest is installed. I have no idea what the problem is.

Thoughts?

Right board selected in Tools, Boards?
Right serial port selected in Tools, Port?
Good USB data (not charging) cable?

Yes, all correct. I have a feeling I know the answer. I posted another question along the same issue... Is a ATMega328P (or comparable chip) required? Yeah, I am that new to this.
