Cant connect UNO R4 WiFi to IoT Cloud

I have installed the Arduino Cloud Agent multiple times, each single time when I want to connect my Arduino UNO R4 WiFi, it shows me the exact same page as in the picture, "Latest Arduino Cloud Agent required".

I need this pretty much urgently working for a uni project, but I can't use it because of this error

The Agent version is 1.3.6, it's the one I get from the link Arduino Cloud is giving me.

This issue is one I have had. if you already messed around with the agent make sure you have the proper cord that can transfer data.

Hi @adriansece. Do you see the Arduino Create Agent icon in the macOS menu bar at the top of your screen?:

The color of the icon on your computer might be different than in the graphic above, but it will look like an Arduino logo.

@ptillisch Yes, I do see the Agent running. I tried pausing-restarting, quitting and opening it again, same result.
I also tried uninstalling and installing it again, using the link Arduino gives me when it says "Latest Arduino Cloud Agent required".
It's like I simply can't install the latest version, or there's a problem with the IoT Cloud that cannot see my device at all.
Narrowing down the problems, the Agent seems to be the problem since the device can't be seen and I still get the same error, that i might not have the latest version, but it's the latest i could download from Arduino Website.
I'll upload a screenshot down below:

I tried with a USBC 3 cable today, taking into consideration @edwed 's response, but it's the same result over and over again.

@edwed I’m using a samsung cable, which can of course tranfer data too. I will try using a USBC 3 today, maybe I can get a different result.

EDIT: Tried the USBC 3 cable, same result, nothing changed/worked.

Thanks for the clarification. This problem may be caused by certain security restrictions of the Safari web browser blocking the communication between Arduino Cloud and Arduino Create Agent.

I'll provide instructions you can follow to configure Arduino Create Agent to allow use of Arduino Cloud in the Safari browser:

  1. If it is not already running, start Arduino Create Agent.
ā“˜ If you see an Arduino Create Agent icon on the macOS menu bar then it is running.
  2. Control-click on the Arduino Create Agent icon on the macOS "menu bar".
    A menu will open.
  3. Select "Generate and Install HTTPS certificates" from the menu 1.
A "You are making changes to your Certificate Trust Settings" dialog will open.
  4. Enter your macOS user password in the "You are making changes to your Certificate Trust Settings" dialog.
  5. Click the "Update Settings" button.

After doing that, you should find that Arduino Cloud is able recognize that Arduino Create Agent is running and recognizes the Arduino boards you have connected to your computer.

Please let me know if you have any questions or problems while following those instructions.

1. "If your board is not detected by Arduino Web Editor". Arduino Help Center

I had the same problem, running in the Brave browser, a Chrome derivative. Solved by turning off "Shields" for the Arduino page.
