First time trying to roll through the 'Getting Started' bit with the Arduino IoT Cloud - got the Nano ESP32 there.
It tells me that it's not able to create the IoT blink controller.

Misery loves company.
Never pay up front.
I've had some success, I guess, using the procedure, here --
https://docs.arduino.cc/tutorials/nano-esp32/cloud-setup/
but none of the examples works with a Nano ESP32 -- only with the Arduino IoT boards or non-Arduino ESP32's.
Arduino Nano ESP32 board is compatible with the Cloud.
In the Arduino Cloud, there are 2 Cloud Blink Templates in the Templates section.
You have to use the second one: "Cloud Blink ESP32".
@colandre
I'll look into that this evening. The Nano ESP32 isn't noted in the list of compatible devices there.
Sorry @runaway_pancake , I tested it with my Arduino Nano ESP32 and it works correctly with the second one.
(Sorry, I edited the previous post after your reply)
Here you can find a small video of the board working with the Cloud Blink ESP32:
