Can't find the Arduino in Device Manager.

Neither USB port, Ports, or Unknown Devices are listed. Here is how my menu looks like:

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. I successfully installed the Arduino program onto my Lenovo Thinkpad T430, but when I connect the Uno to my laptop via USB cable the Uno's green light turns on and an orange light flashes but nothing happens on my laptop. When I go to TOOLS > SERIAL PORT the Serial Port option is greyed out.

Please help. I just want to learn to make an LED flash on and off (and more) =(

Try a different, known to work, USB cable.

Have you tried with biicode? It automatically detects which port it is conected.
They also have a nice guide for blinking!
