Cant get 2 analog input readouts correctly

  pinMode(A3, INPUT_PULLUP); // sensor 0
  pinMode(A4, INPUT_PULLUP); // sensor 1

Why with pullups? -> it was inherited from my friend's code, who used 1 sensor connected to A2 pin and i thought that it will work analogically.

That's new to me -> i forgot to place the rest of the code:

void loop() {
  main_loop();
}

I know that it does not make difference and i can delete it and rename main_loop (i will do that) but i will place it here just for your curiosity

void braker_state_check(int *which_sensor){

braker_state_check(1);

Not very pointer-like -> I know, i didnt notice that. I have deleted * from function argument list.

I will test everything tomorrow, but i think only changing pinMode can make the difference. Otherwise i will as you for further help
