I've connected the arduino to the L298 board like shown in the diagram but when I plug in the battery (tried with both 6V and 7.4V) the computer is not able to recognize the nano (Windows complains that it can't recognize USB device). This I have tried with two different Nanos. The Nano works though and it controls the motors as expected, however I have to disconnect the battery every time I want to upload code.
Have I overlooked something here?
