Can't see the contents of sketch-files in Web Editor->Sketchbook

Hello everybody!

I started my arduino experiments about a week ago and all went fine so far.
I'm using
Chrome 56.0.2924.87 under Windows 7 Home Premium
and an Original Arduino Uno R3 connected via USB.

I could create some sketches in the Web Editor, could add .h and .cpp files and .ino-examples.
Compiling and downloading to my arduino Uno worked fine and my display and sonic sensor worked according to the sources that were compiled and downloaded.

At some point, i logged in to the Web Editor again and wanted to continue my first project ponyhof.ino, but it stucks by displaying "Loading source...". None of my files are visible to me since then! I tried to sign out and in, restarted my computer, removed cookies, gave it a try with firefox - nothing helped so far!
Downloading a sketch is responded with a yellow bar: Error while downloading.
When i add another Sketchfile, the tab is created and the new sourcefile is shown. But only once! After changing to another sketch and returning, the recentyl loaded file is not shown again. Only "Loading source..." is displayed.

I hope, that my files are not lost, since i didn't backup them.

Can anybody explain, what has happend there and how it can be fixed, please?

Thanks for your report and sorry about that, we will look into your account and let you know.

Can you share us the url of the sketch?

Hello, I think I fixed the error, but it would be great to know which caused it in the first place. Did you delete some files? Did you rename sketches? We want to make sure it can't happen again

Well, after a new login it works again.
Thanks for this quick solution!

What did i do to cause this misbehaviour?
Well, i renamed my first Sketch from its default name to Ponyhof, but after that it still worked for a while. As far as i can remember, i only edited ponyhof.ino and no other files. In between, i opened another, already existing sketch to try something with my LED-display.
I returned back to Ponyhof and could use it as before. After the last transfer to my Uno, the Busy-Info didn't disappear, although the downloaded code was ok.

That's all i can say and hope it helps a little bit to trace this error. Good luck and thank you again for fixing it!

Hi,
can you please share solution how workaround this behavior? I faced the same problem. And looks like it happened after I renamed my sketch from default to my own name.

thanks.

Alexdm, can you share with us your preferences settings?

Yes, here you are

Thanks for the Preferences screenshot, could you share with us the URL of this broken file?
Please keep it in your sketchbook while we investigate on it and sorry for this problem!
