Can't see the top of Arduino ide

I'm putting together a Raspberry Pi B+ to program my Uno when I'm out in the field.

I bought this touchscreen from Adafruit, PiTFT - Assembled 480x320 3.5 TFT+Touchscreen for Raspberry Pi : ID 2097 : $44.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits. Everything seems to be working fine, but when I try to use the Arduino IDE, I can't see the top of the ide, It's like it's too long of an image and I can't scroll up, so there's no way that I can use it. I don't see "File, Edit, Sketch and so on. By the way, I can see it on my regular HDMI monitor. Any idea as to what's going on? I know this seems like a Raspberry Pi question, but I thought I ask considering I'm using the Arduino Uno and the Arduino ide.

Thanks.............Antonio

Assuming you are running X with a regular keyboard:

Hold down the [ALT] key and then drag the window down until you can see the top of it --

But this is really more of an Arduino question -- which software is giving you a problem isn't really important.
