I recently bought a couple of:
1 - Sparkfun Redboard;
2 - Sparkfun Xbee Explorer Regulated (no usb);
3 - Xbee Pro Module;
Basically: I followed the instruction, did the soldering, connected into redboard, but I can't setup the modules.
In detail:
a - My soldering is 5v (red), gnd (black), Dout (yellow), Din ( blue);
b - I also connected a cable to work as jumper ( jumper settings: reset and ground on redboard ) to be able to directly "talk" with my Xbee Pro Module;
c - Opened Coolterm App (since I'm using mac);
d - I think the setup is ok, since I could "listen" from the redboard ( without the jumper );
e - tried DOUT -> TX - DIN -> RX and then the inverse;
When I hit connect in Coolterm it tells me I'm connected although even pressing +++ and waiting or pressing +++ and then hitting pressing enter I got no answer.
I attached some pictures in order to make easy for you guys understand and maybe help me.
I don't know what else I'm missing so any help would be very appreciated.
