I just got an arduino, downloaded everything and wrote the basic blink code. Whenever i try to upload it i get this message.....
I have installed all the drivers properly
I am running windows 7 64bit
i have selected the uno in the tools and the right port
Change begin to setup

Even easier, just use:
File --> Examples --> Basics --> Blink
and save yourself the typing. There will be enough of that after you get used to the IDE.
You can't upload code if doesn't compile.
Please turn your keyboard over and give it a good shake - it looks like some of your keys are sticking and auto-repeating.
