Can't upload scetch to Diecimila

I've just bought a Diecimila and a USB Boarduino board. I've followed the steps on "getting started". I plug my Diecimila board into the computer and start arduino.exe. When I try to upload a scetch to my board, I get this message:

avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x51

I've tried it with both a Vista PC and a XP PC. And I've tried it with both the Diecimila end the USB Boarduino, and I get this message every time.

P.S. I know a similar forum topic has been posted before, but the pin 13 LED didn't blink on his board. It does on mine.

I probably made the most dumb error, I could ever make. I selected the wrong COM port. ::slight_smile:
