Can't Upload Sketch to MKR1000

Sick of broken English and half assed instructions. Zapier? Doesn't offer a "hook" option anywhere, and that's like the VERY first thing in the IOT instructions. So right off the bat its broken. Ok. Lets try something simple like plugging it in. Oh, look! A driver installed! YAY! Ok, lets search the IDE for MKR1000. Nope, that requires some other thing. OK, found the other thing, chose MKR1000 from the board list! GREAT! Now to upload a skeleton sketch. WRONG! DENIED. BROKEN :(

Please do this:

  • File > Preferences > Show verbose output during: > compilation (uncheck) > upload (check) > OK
  • Sketch > Upload
  • After the upload fails you’ll see a button on the right side of the orange bar “Copy error messages”. Click that button.
  • Paste the error messages in a reply here USING CODE TAGS (</> button on the forum toolbar).

This report would have more information with
“Show verbose output during compilation”
option enabled in File → Preferences.

May I have your suggestions?
Many thanks.

  • If you cannot select the port, please click "upload" anyway and once you see in the console a text like the following one, please give quick double tap to the reset button:

PORTS {COM131, } / {COM131, } => {} PORTS {COM131, } / {COM131, } => {} PORTS {COM131, } / {COM131, } => {} - Ca you see the ports under device manager once you click the reset button twice - Does the double tap show the fading behaviour of LED?
