I'm not certain I can be of much help as its working under Windows 10, but not Linux. It does look like like the 1200 baud pulse is sent.
Under Linux, when you open the Arduino IDE's Tools > Port menu, what does it say? Does it show it as a Nano Every being connected like under Windows?
