Cantt upload on Ubuntu 11.04

Hi all,

I have trouble uploading code from my computer to my Arduino duemilanove. Im running Ubuntu 11.04 with kernel version 2.6.38.8. When i click upload, i get this message:

Serial port '/dev/ttyUSB0' not found. Did you select the right one from Tools > Serial Port Menu? But when i go to Tools > Serial port, its greyed out. Can anyone help?

Thank you in advice

The port you are looking for on Ubuntu 11.04 is /dev/ttyACM0 - that's what the USB ports are called. If you are not seeing that, check that you have installed the right version of the Arduino IDE (022) and the right version of librxtx-java. Both should be available from the standard Ubuntu repositories.

Hello!

First connect the Arduino module (in my case, I have an UNO). List the devices found in / dev (ls /dev). TtyACM0 should appear in the list. Create a link called ttyUSB0 referencing ttyACM0. Start the Arduino and the menu Tools> Serial Port appear to select the link created. Recalling that used the UNO.

I hope this helps.
