Capacitive touch overlay

I would like to re-use my Lattepanda capacitive touch panel (7" Capacitive Touch Panel Overlay for LattePanda Display - DFRobot) with my arduino but is unsure if its doable. Does it work similar to a Resistive touch panel where you just need analog pins to read the X,Y value?

I looked at these videos on Resistive Touch Screens and it seems to get X,Y values and they did not use any other hardware:

Does anyone have any ideas? Any documents or input will be helpful. Thanks!

No, this is a capacitive touch panel and you need a driver IC like the FT5316.
I don't know if the FT5316 works with this specific panel, you should buy those 2 in a kit.

@couka

There seems to be one on sale with FT5316.

From my understanding, I will be able to hook this one up to my Arduino?
