(capacitive) Touch slider/potentiometer

I'm searching for touch sliders that I can use with my arduino. Unfortunately I can't find a single one to buy or built. There are membrane potentiometer like This, but they are to inaccurately for my use case. I need to differentiate 128 values in 40-60mm width.

Here are a few examples for what I'm searching:

I only found a development board for a capacitive touch microcontroller, which has a touch slider. http://de.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Silicon-Labs/F990SLIDEREK/?qs=cvlTIYUSnFZ7OVkvy6CY1g==

Are there really no touch sliders?

if wired right, this provides 1023 values in a 100mm package.
they also have a 50mm version.

google "arduino soft pot" for tutorials.

This part is easy to use... just dont mix up the wiring... or it will fry (experience)

This one is 300mm. Maybe it would work.
