capacitive touch using atmega32

Hi..
I am working on building capacitive touch sense based appliance control using ATmega32 & Atmel QT60168.
I am new to this field.I need help in designing power supply & interfacing.

i dont know answer for your question .22 members seen this post but no one replied.your question is too straight forward.its look like open question.dont mistake me.it looks so.try to ask ideas or break down this question little more by giving some detials.

So, what do you want from this forum? Before you answer...

  • the main Board is Arduino
  • this forum is microcontroller
The context is to get help with microcontrollers used in the Arduino environment.

Now, how can we assist? We do not do your design and we do not do your coding and we do not often do your Googling, although I do far too much for posters.

Has the reference documents for thee QT60168. The main software library is QTouch. Your job is to find or produce a QTouch implement library for Arduino. The Google search terms are: Arduino QTouch to begin and then start drilling down. Good luck.

Its been a few months, has anyone actually managed to use the Atmel QTouch stuff from within the Arduino IDE? I have a project that needs some capacitive sensors, and this would seem like it should be a good method without having to resort to something like an MPR121 breakout board.

Atmel has loads of documentation on that.
