I think the cap sense library is amazing but its quite temperamental depending on what I'm standing next to for example. Now obviously, in commercial applications, much better sensors would be used.
I've tried to research some capacitive sensors but I only seem to be able to find ones that can turn on or off when a hand or what not is placed within distance of the sensor. I even went out and bought a IQS127D capacitive sensor test kit and it works fine. Does anybody know where I could go about finding a capacitive sensor that will output either a voltage or digital output that is proportional in some manner to distance?
