Hi there,

i have some trouble with CAN-BUS

and UNO R3 :frowning:
I have found and tried to run several codes from internet but with no succes...
Have anyone got it to work ? and can you share your code plz :slight_smile:

Hi, i have compiled "CAN-BUS ECU Reader demo sketch v4 - For use with Arduino 1.0"

the proof it CAN(BUS) be done - Arduino CAN-Bus OBDII demo - YouTube -

you may need to update / downgrade the SD class ...

I was wondering if you were able to get this to work??? Every time I place my can-bus module on the R3 my serial monitor freezes up and stops... When I try and upload with the canbus attached I get "avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00"

Any help would be awesome people!!

I recommend you this Arduino OBD-II UART adapter.

It just makes vehicle connectivity easy with dedicated Arduino library and also provides 5V power supply for Arduino from the 12V DC output from OBD-II port.
