CE & RoHS Compliance

Hello - I sell the Arduino Diecimila in products we deliver worldwide (inspeed.com). Does anyone know if it is CE and RoHS compliant? Thank you!
Lorenzo

The original Arduino Diecimila boards are made in Italy, so I guess they don't have a choice other than being CE/RoHS compliant

Agreed but it sure would be nice to have it written, confirmed, and backed up somehow so that I can convince my customers. How do I contact Arduino directly about this?

You could send a PM to "the boss" himself

From what I've read in a recently published article about arduino and its fathers, it seems Signore Banzi is keen on doing business...

Sparkfun says it's RoHS compliant: http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=666. Robotshop.ca also.

Excuse my ignorance but what is CE and RoHS compliance please?

Never mind, found this page - http://www.sotainstruments.com/original/documents/cemark.html

Not necessarily. You only need that to sell in a EU country.

Oh well...

Sure, maybe they take the effort of producing a bunch of arduinos with lots of lead and other nasty stuff and ship it to the rest of the world and then clean the whole factory and make the RoHS stuff

CE-marking included

Any news about Arduino compliance to CE-marking?
