Hello all. I've done some programming but new to arduino. I watched some tutorials and feel ok with simple programming. My project is to control the lighting and a couple of ceiling fans in small building. My imagined system will be a touch screen, (input) used cheapo from ebay, and an arduino controller. Given that, what would I need to build a simple interface on the touchscreen, just buttons nothing fancy, and some I/O that will talk to my arduino? Can this be done without a Windows OS? Then of coarse from there to some wireless switches. Or would this be something better suited to a PLC project? Thanks for for any tips, tricks you can share.
you are in LEDs and Multiplexing.
Do you want to multiplex LEDs???
to give you some hint, this is a starting point: allways start here
Hello earthworx,
Welcome to the forum.
Your question seems to suggest that you want to control mains electricity. Given the questions you ask I am concerned that you do not have the knowledge or experience* to safely build an electronic system that connects to mains electricity. Please can you indicate your level of knowledge and experience?
*Experiance: That which you gain just after you need it the most.
