I am pretty comfortable with uploading bootloaders via ArduinoISP, or an external programmer. But, recently, I found that FT232RL IC installed boards can be bootloaded directly from the USB interface by using BitBangedSPI, which is rather cool.
Now, the new Chinese clones of Arduino UNO containing CH340G as the USB to serial converter also happen to have these pins broken out as X1 (CTS,DSR,DCD,RI), which is same as in the video above (link).
Can we somehow upload the bootloader on these boards via similar way? If yes...please elaborate.
